I want to spill the beans on one specific Claude skill that is growing my vacation rental company more than anything else.

Sounds easy, because it is.

Blog posts. (Not ai slop posts, let me explain.)

I’ll get right to the point and show you the breakdown:

The agent starts with a voice file that analyzed my actual blog writing style from past posts. Not my newsletter voice, not my LinkedIn voice. The blog has its own tone and I wanted the agent to match it.

Each week it pulls the next topic from a 13-week content plan I keep in ClickUp. Marks it in progress, then kicks off deep research on the topic with current industry data and sources.

Once research is done, it drafts the full post in first person using a locked-in structure:

A hook leading with the best data point from the research, a couple paragraphs of context on why it matters right now, three to six sections of real substance (data, strategies, mistakes to avoid, real examples), a takeaway the reader can actually act on, and a soft CTA that invites connection without being salesy.

The finished draft with source links drops back into my blog project list for review.

Basically, I take this, refine it a bit, add in some more links, etc... Then I post it on my blog. I do this at least once per week now, sometimes twice.

It’s actually good content that drives SEO and leads.

It’s what homeowners in the smokies want to be reading.

This is one of the simpler agent skills that I have running, but it potentially has some of the largest impact.

More revenue directly from this.

I don’t have an SEO person full time at Haven, so it’s up to me if this gets done. For the last 2-3 years it has NOT gotten done. It’s never the most important thing for me.

However, now, I get leads from this. Ai does 85% of the work. I refine it and post it. I move on.

TIP: copy this entire newsletter, paste it into Claude, and tell it to create a skill like this for you!

Here is a recent Haven blog post so you can see the results for yourself.
